PICKLEBALL MASTERY SERIES

I began writing the pickleball mastery series a few years ago. I began with an ebook called 3 Pickleball Strategies That Will Improve Your Game. The truth is we may not all have the same athletic ability.  Some may be younger and faster.  Others may have power and strength. But we all have the ability to use our minds to play better.  In this ebook, I offer you 3 Pickleball Strategies that have absolutely nothing to do with athletic ability. These are strategies any player can incorporate into their own game. It doesn’t matter if you are a new player or have been playing for years, these 3 Pickleball Strategies will Improve Your Game.

Because we most often play doubles, my second book encouraged you to  Be the Best Pickleball Partner You Can Be. You see our thoughts like our actions are not pre-determined. They are not controlled by some external force. They are controlled by each of us. It may not always be easy…it may not be second nature to perform your best in a competitive situation. But, with practice, you can learn to manage your thoughts and your performance on the pickleball court. You can learn to play your best and help your partner play his or her best too!

I had so many requests for another ebook on on-court strategy. But there is no magic blueprint. Strategies must be based on your own abilities and will change with your opponent, conditions, partners and more. So instead, I offered you a way to evaluate your own strengths and weaknesses, choose a partner to compliment your style of play, create on-court strategies that will work for you, identify when to change your strategies during a match and finally analyze your play over time. These are what I call my 5 Steps to Better Pickleball

Finally, I was asked for an ebook on preparing and playing in tournaments. I book that delved into preparation and tournament play. An ebook that covered fitness, nutrition, mental and physical preparation. That covered the weeks leading up to a big event, the day/night before and game day. And because we can always improve, Pickleball Tournament Mastery also includes advice on reflecting on our play…because success means we are always learning.

Where Does Power Come From in Pickleball?

Hint: It’s Not Your Arms. Let’s clear this up right away—power doesn’t come from your hands or arms. Swinging harder doesn’t automatically mean you’re hitting faster, stronger, or better. In fact, that mindset often does more harm than good. In pickleball, we separate power and control by the body:Power comes
