When There is No Pickleball

All of us are missing our regular lives right now and especially our time on the pickleball court. But I am determined to take advantage of this no pickleball, stay at home,  time.

No Pickleball

Projects

I always have a list of things I need to get done or a list of those things I would love to do if I only have the time. Well now, I haveNo Pickleball the time and am going to take advantage of it.  Linh and I put together a new table and chair set. Mid-project I looked up and Linh and said, “This is kind of amazing”. Normally, Linh takes care of projects like this. It was fun having the time to do this together.

Another project is updating my gym. Even if you don’t have the equipment, there is so much you can do to keep yourself in shape at home. Perhaps you commit to finding a new workout each week. In addition to the ones I have posted, you can check YouTube.  I even found free yoga videos on Amazon Prime. There are so many free workouts available! And with all this free time, none of us have an excuse.

Pickleball Recipe Challenge

You might be wondering about the photo at the time of this post. Well, I’m loving cooking at home and trying out things I haven’t had the time to do before. We often fall into less healthy habits instead of cooking at home. Now we have the time to try out yummy, and healthy, recipes. Yesterday I made protein pancakes for breakfast.  And we also tried a new Frozen Yogurt Bark recipe. I’ve included the recipe below and want to offer you a challenge. If you have recently found a new healthy recipe, share it with this pickleball community by including it in the comments below!

No Pickleball

I won’t lie…I miss playing pickleball. I miss the pickleball community we have formed at Palmetto Dunes. But I a grateful for the things I do have. And I am so grateful we are happy and healthy. I am getting to take the boys for more walks and spend quality time with Linh. So while there is no pickleball, there are so many things to be thankful for.
