Professional Pickleball Registry…What the Future Holds

As many of you have heard, I have taken a new position as Lead Educator and Head Clinician for the newly formed Professional Pickleball Registry. It is a great privilege to have been approached for this position.

The Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) is one of the most recognizable names in tennis around the world.  This organization brings many years of experience and considerable resources to the promotion of our sport.  I truly believe that with their support, we will see growth even greater than what we have seen before.

We are all pleased by the fact that the tennis community is slowly, but surely, getting on board with pickleball.  The parent PTR and the new Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR) are ideally positioned to bridge the gap between tennis and pickleball in a way that will benefit both sports.

Pickleball Education

So many of you teach pickleball to newbies.  Not for money, but for the love of the game.
As I have traveled over the last year or so, I have often been asked for such a program.  While I have been working on it for years, I am pleased that we will be making it available through the PPR very soon.
This is a big change for Linh, me, and our boys.  But being able to teach the teacher, through the Professional Pickleball Registry, means that I can reach so many more people than before.  Please feel free to contact me with your questions or suggestions.

Why You Don’t Need to Stop to Hit the Ball

Let’s bust a myth that drives me a little bit crazy—this idea that you have to stop moving to hit the ball. It’s simply not true. What you really need is stability, not stillness. Stop Stopping—Start Stabilizing A lot of the time, players feel like they have to stop because
