Pickleball Tournament Mastery eBook

Preparing Your Mind & Body to Succeed

You asked for a book on preparing and playing in tournaments. You also asked for a book on the mental side of the game. Frankly, I couldn’t write about tournament play without addressing our competitive mind. So this ebook includes both topics.

  1. We begin with a pickleball tournament primer. This chapter is written for players that may be entering their first event.
  2. Then we focus on the weeks leading up to the big event. How do I plan for success?  Nutrition, fitness, honing my pickleball skills and my competitive mind are all important.
  3. The day and night before a tournament are key. I need to prepare physically and mentally.
  4. Tournament days are often long and hard. From warm-up through that final match we decide to play our best.
  5. Finally, after the tournament, there is time for reflection. I have learned every tournament offers the opportunity to succeed if success means we are always learning.

In this ebook, I tell you what I do to prepare and play in a pickleball tournament.  I want you to have the tools to create your own plan for success.
